About Us

Founded in 2026 and based in Sunrise Beach, MO, LuxeStone is a luxury dock paver company specializing in high-quality, porcelain-style pavers designed to elevate your waterfront living space. Our products combine refined aesthetics with exceptional durability, helping you create a dock that reflects your personal style and stands apart from the rest.

After relocating permanently to the Lake of the Ozarks, we quickly discovered that lake life revolves around extending your living space onto your dock—transforming it into the ultimate outdoor retreat. Yet, nearly every dock featured the same worn, outdated pavers. We recognized an opportunity to create something better—something that brings luxury, customization, and long-lasting performance to your waterfront.

Our solution is truly one of a kind. By fusing premium outdoor porcelain with the strength of concrete, we deliver a dock paver that offers both elegance and durability in a way no other product on the market can. With a wide range of color options and custom combinations, every dock can be tailored to reflect your unique vision.

In partnership with LibertyStone Hardscaping Systems, we reimagined a proven landscape product into a specialized solution designed exclusively for docks. The result is a premium surface that transforms your dock into a distinctive, high-end extension of your home—built to impress and made to last.

FAQ

What is the compressive strength of LuxeStone®?
Because of the size and geometry of LuxeStone® units, compressive strength is not the governing performance property. Concrete and porcelain paving slabs are designed and evaluated using flexural strength, which reflects real-world loading conditions such as pedestrian traffic and point loads over the bedding layer.

Accordingly, the appropriate test method is ASTM C1782/C1782M, which measures flexural strength. LuxeStone® complies with this standard, including minimum flexural strengths well above specification:(e.g., 725 psi average).

While compressive strength is sometimes asked about, it is not a relevant design criterion for thin paving units. As a reference only, flexural strength for paver products is typically on the order of one-tenth of compressive strength.

It is also worth noting that porcelain itself has an extremely high compressive strength, commonly exceeding 20,000-30,000 psi, far beyond any loads encountered in paving applications. In practice, performance is governed by flexural capacity, load distribution, and the installation system.
What about freezing and thawing resistance?
LuxeStone® is inherently resistant to freeze-thaw damage by design.

The porcelain surface is essentially impermeable. As a result, water does not pass through the porcelain layer, meaning there is no absorbed moisture within the porcelain that can freeze, expand, and cause cracking or spalling. In practical terms, porcelain is immune to freeze-thaw deterioration.

Freeze-thaw damage occurs when water is absorbed into a material, freezes, expands, and creates internal stresses. Because porcelain does not meaningfully absorb water, this failure mechanism does not apply to the porcelain surface of LuxeStone®.
System performance in freeze-thaw climates is therefore governed not by the porcelain, but by proper drainage and installation practices beneath the unit. Installing LuxeStone® in accordance with published specifications, using free-draining bedding materials and a properly designed base ensures long-term performance in cold climates.
What about delamination?
LuxeStone® units are manufactured using a proprietary, factory-controlled bonding process that permanently joins the porcelain surface to the concrete base using a specially formulated adhesive. This process creates a permanent bond between the two materials during manufacturing.

The proprietary adhesive is engineered to deliver very high bond strength while incorporating controlled flexibility. This flexibility allows the bonded interface to accommodate natural dimensional changes in the concrete base, including shrinkage, thermal expansion and contraction, and minor movement, without loss of adhesion. Rather than failing when movement occurs, the bond is designed to absorb these stresses while remaining intact.

As a result of this manufacturing process, the porcelain surface and concrete base act as a single, permanently bonded composite unit. When installed in accordance with published specifications, delamination is not a performance or durability concern of the LuxeStone® product. The bond does not rely on field conditions, does not degrade over time, and is not a wear item.

Under intended use, the factory-created bond is permanent.
Can I install LuxeStone® over stone dust or mason sand?
LuxeStone® is designed to be installed on standard, metal fabricated dock applications or over a free-draining base system. However, if installed as landscape or hardscape application, recommended installation methods utilize an open-graded aggregate (OGA) base and bedding layer that allow water to move freely through the system and away from the units.

Open-graded aggregate provides stable support while maintaining interconnected void space for drainage. This prevents water from becoming trapped beneath the units, reduces moisture retention, and minimizes the risk of movement, settlement, or freeze-thaw-related distress within the installation.

Stone dust and masonry sand are not recommended because they are dense, fine-graded materials that can retain moisture and impede drainage. When these materials become saturated, they can lose stability, migrate, or contribute to uneven support conditions beneath the units.

By contrast, an open-graded aggregate base supports the long-term performance of the LuxeStone® system by promoting drainage, maintaining consistent support, and allowing the porcelain-concrete composite units to perform as intended. All installations should follow the published LuxeStone® installation guidelines to ensure proper base preparation and system durability.
Can I use regular polymeric sand for the joints?
For LuxeStone®, installed on docks, no jointing compound should be used. However, if installed as a landscape or hardscape application, we recommend a resin-based jointing sand designed for porcelain applications. These products are installed using a wet application method, where the surface is pre-wetted and the material is worked into the joints while wet, then rinsed clean, allowing the joints to fill completely without leaving residue on the porcelain surface.

Resin-based jointing sands are well suited to non-absorptive porcelain surfaces and are formulated to cure through the joint, creating a stable, erosion-resistant joint that performs well under rainfall and routine cleaning.
Can I use a regular saw blade?
LuxeStone® should be cut using a diamond blade specifically designed for porcelain and used with a water-cooled saw. Porcelain is extremely dense and hard, and blades designed for concrete or masonry are not optimized for this material.

Porcelain-rated diamond blades are engineered with the proper bond hardness and segment design to cut cleanly through the porcelain surface without excessive chipping, overheating, or micro-fracturing. Water cooling controls heat, reduces dust, and protects both the blade and the porcelain surface during cutting.

Using the correct blade and wet-cutting method ensures clean edges, preserves surface integrity, and produces professional results consistent with the performance expectations of the LuxeStone® system.
Can I use a pressure washer on LuxeStone®?
Yes. LuxeStone® can be cleaned using a pressure washer.

Warranty
▸Our Guarantee
LuxeStone® warrants its product to be free of defects that affect structural integrity to the original purchaser upon showing proof of purchase. If there is a defect in the structural integrity of a product, the defective material will be replaced assuming proper installation practices consistent with industry standards have been followed. Problems arising from neglect or abuse shall not be grounds for product replacement. Product warranty does not cover shipping fees or costs arising from product removal or installation. Color matching of replacement product cannot be guaranteed. LuxeStone® reserves the right to validate proof of purchase. LuxeStone® reserves the right to provide the purchaser a replacement product of equal value depending on stock limitations or discontinuance of any product.

LuxeStone® warrants the structural integrity of its product. The term structural integrity means the ability of a properly maintained item to hold together under a load, including its own weight and assures that the construction will perform its designed function, during reasonable use, for the designed life of the structure. LuxeStone®’s guarantee does not apply to chipping, splitting or any other breakage that could be caused by overloading, impact or abrasion and the warranty does not apply to any damage occurring from a deliberate and/or negligible act on the part of the purchaser, owner of the property or any third party. The LuxeStone® warranty is not applicable to any damage as the result of a natural disaster or acts of God. Improper installation practices and/or using LuxeStone® products for applications other than that for which they have been designed shall also void any warranty.

Efflorescence is a naturally occurring white, powdery substance that can occur in all products that utilize concrete. Efflorescence is purely aesthetic in nature and in no way compromises the structural integrity or functionality of the concrete product and is not covered under LuxeStone®’s warranty. There is currently no way of eliminating efflorescence from occurring and it can affect every producer that manufactures concrete products. Efflorescence will wash/wear away over time and can be cleaned with efflorescence cleaner, but there is no guarantee that after it is cleaned that it will not return again. In hardscape applications, concrete setting beds may increase the likelihood of efflorescence occurring. LuxeStone® accepts no liability or responsibility for the occurrence of efflorescence and/or any damage arising from the use of cleaners to remove it. Efflorescence is not applicable on the porcelain tile itself.

All LuxeStone® products are manufactured with raw materials occurring in nature. These raw materials can and will vary in color, therefore color shading will exist, as it does in nature. Variances in color do not constitute a warranty claim. It is for this reason that LuxeStone® recommends that the installer draw material from multiple cubes during installation to more evenly disperse colors. Installation of LuxeStone® pavingstones or wall systems is deemed acceptance and no claims or returns of installed product shall be allowed. It is recommended that the end user make final color selection based on current, physical product samples available from an authorized LuxeStone® dealer.

When using plate compactors on LuxeStone®’s product, it is mandatory that a urethane protection mat be bolted onto the plate compactor to protect against scuffing on the surfaces of all LuxeStone® product.

LuxeStone® products are not designes for excessive load-bearing applications such as driveways and therefore should only be used for non-loadbearing applications like docks, patios, walkways, sidewalks, pool decks, etc.

LuxeStone® accepts no responsibility or liability for the improper use of polymeric joint sand and/or the haze which can be left behind if proper installation practices are not followed. Be sure to follow the application instructions listed on the polymeric sand package exactly as there can be differences in installation instructions from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Any implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration as stated above. The exclusive remedy under this warranty is replacement of a defective product. LuxeStone shall not be liable for incidental, special, punitive or consequential damage arising from any breach of warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Any court action making a claim under this warranty must be commenced within one year of the date on which the defect was, or in the exercise of reasonable care, discovered. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
